Terms of Service
Terms of Service
Last updated: October 19, 2026. Torvaris may change these terms, prices, features and plans at any time; see section 9. Paid subscribers get an email before a price change applies to them.
1. What the Services are
These terms cover the paid email signals from Torvaris (“we”, “us”), currently Florida PSC Daily, NLRB Petition Alerts and Prop 65 Notice Alerts (each a “Service”).
- Florida PSC Daily sends a weekday email listing new filings, dockets and orders published by the Florida Public Service Commission, with links to the Commission's own pages, plus optional alerts for items on your watchlist.
- NLRB Petition Alerts sends a weekday email listing new representation (R) case petitions published by the National Labor Relations Board, with links to the Board's case pages, plus optional watchlist alerts.
- Prop 65 Notice Alerts sends a weekday email listing new Proposition 65 60-day notices as filed with the California Attorney General, with links to the Attorney General's notice page and PDF, plus optional watchlist alerts. A 60-day notice is an allegation, not a finding of violation: companies appear as “alleged violators” exactly as the notice names them, and private individuals are shown as “an individual”.
Each Service is built only from records the agencies publish. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting for the Florida Public Service Commission, the National Labor Relations Board, the California Department of Justice or OEHHA. Items appear as the agency published them; a filing, petition or notice is not a finding of anything. The Services are information, not legal, regulatory or investment advice.
2. Accuracy and timing
Agency websites can be late, incomplete, changed or unavailable, and our matching of watchlist terms is automatic and can miss items or include ones you didn't want. Always rely on the agency's official record. We aim to send each weekday morning but don't promise a delivery time. If a source is down we may skip or delay a day.
3. Trial, subscription and billing
- Paid plans are not on sale yet. Until they open, the daily digest of each Service is free, needs no card and is never charged. If you asked to hear about paid plans, we'll email you when they open; nothing becomes paid unless you choose a plan.
- Paid plans: 14-day free trial, card required, cancel anytime before day 14 and you won't be charged; we email you 3 days before. You start the trial at our payment provider's checkout and enter a card there. If you don't cancel before the trial ends, the first charge for the plan you chose is made on day 14. The free daily digest needs no card.
- After the trial, a paid plan costs, plus any sales tax:
- Florida PSC Daily: $29 per month, or $290 per year
- NLRB Petition Alerts: $39 per month, or $390 per year
- Prop 65 Notice Alerts: $39 per month, or $390 per year
- Payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy, our reseller and merchant of record, under its own terms and privacy policy. Lemon Squeezy collects and remits sales tax.
- Paid plans renew automatically at the then-current price for the same period (monthly or yearly) until you cancel. You can cancel online at any time from the link in your receipt, or by emailing support@torvaris.com. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you've paid for.
- For yearly plans we email a renewal reminder 30 to 60 days before each renewal. For every plan we email a reminder of your price, billing frequency and how to cancel at least once a year.
- Refunds: if you ask within 7 days of your first paid charge, we refund it in full. Otherwise payments are non-refundable except where the law requires.
4. Your use
- One subscription is for one person's or one organization's internal use. Forwarding an occasional email to a colleague is fine. Republishing, reselling or redistributing the digests or CSV files in bulk needs a separate written agreement with us.
- The underlying public records are not ours, and you may use the agencies' records as the law allows.
- Don't use the Services to harass anyone named in a filing.
5. Corrections and removals
If an item is wrong or should not identify a person, email support@torvaris.com. We review requests within one business day and fix or remove our copy where appropriate. We can't change the agency's record.
6. Email
You can unsubscribe from any digest or alert with one click. Account and billing emails (receipts, trial and renewal reminders, notices of changes) are part of the Service.
7. Disclaimers and limits
THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE”, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, TO THE EXTENT THE LAW ALLOWS. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for decisions made using the Services, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the Service in the 3 months before the claim.
8. Ending the Service
You can stop at any time. We may suspend or end a subscription that breaks these terms. If we discontinue a Service entirely, we refund the unused part of any prepaid period.
9. Changes to these terms, prices and plans
- Torvaris may change these terms, its prices, and the features and plans of any Service at any time.
- We post every change on this page and update the “Last updated” date at the top. Changes apply from the date they're posted, except as described below for existing paid subscribers.
- Price changes for existing paid subscribers apply only from your next billing period that starts after we've emailed you notice of the change. The notice states the new price and how to cancel, and arrives at least 7 days (and no more than 30 days) before the new price is first charged. You can cancel before then and you won't be charged the new price.
- For any other material change, paid subscribers get an email notice, with how to cancel, before the change applies to them.
- If you keep using a Service after a change takes effect, you accept the changed terms. If you don't agree, cancel or stop using the Service.
10. Governing law and contact
Florida law governs these terms, and courts in Volusia County, Florida, have jurisdiction, except where the law of your home state requires otherwise.
