What we check

before it reaches you

  • Every new representation petition on the Board's Recent Filings list, read in order.
  • The union on each case is read from the NLRB's own case page.
  • Individual petitioners appear as “an individual”, the way the Board lists them.
  • No addresses, phone numbers or representatives' names.

How it works

The Board's regional offices take in about a dozen representation petitions a working day. The NLRB's own email alerts don't cover new filings. We read the Recent Filings list every morning, look up the union on each new case, and send you the ones that touch your employers, unions, regions or states.

Daily digest

The whole day, with your matches first.

Alerts only

Just the lines naming your employers, unions, regions, states, case types. Nothing on a quiet day.

Who reads it

Labor and employment lawyers on both sides, union organizers and staff, HR and labor-relations teams at multi-site employers, and labor reporters.

What we leave out

A petition opens a case; it is not an election result. Every item links to the NLRB's own case page, which is the record. Torvaris is not affiliated with the NLRB.
